The 3 starts come from mixed feelings about this place. I would give one but honestly, the food was very good overall and the portions more than satisfying - not sure how this would translate to a person who eats more, however I came out full. . So, the service there was rude. And I’m learning this after being absent from Poland for 18 years - this is somehow a normal behavior here in Poland - and maybe it’s time to change it… because you are scaring good paying customers and the reviews will only get worse as the world is moving forward with customer service. . The servers don’t smile, if they do, it’s fake and briefly. As we were waiting for a table (we picked a big one because there was 7 of us), a rude lady came by and said “this table is not ready, you can’t sit here yet”. We were not seated, we were just waiting close by that table because that was the only such big table and we didn’t want to lose it. Then a different lady came by and cleaned that table to the point where there was still food on the table left, and we had to clean it with our own wipes. . The waitress didn’t really give me much time to order my food before moving to the next person and then looked at me irritated when I tried to add a drink to my order. . Food is on the expensive side, so you’d think the service will be top-notch. . So, to summarize, and I’m not blaming this restaurant itself for this, but it seems like Polish customer service in restaurants and cafes has a lot of room to improve. I’m a little tired of being treated like I’m bugging someone when I want to spend my money at their store and that I am a big inconvenience. But then they are not afraid to charge me an arm and a leg for their...
Read moreWe ate at this restaurant as a group of four. I would say we didn't have to wait for a table because it wasn't packed, however there was some confusion whether someone was supposed to take us to a vacant table. It seems that you just come and have a seat, the table we wanted wasn't cleared up yet but after 10 minutes or so someone came to clean our table. The food we ordered was really good, we tried the pork knuckle, the potato pancakes and the pork in mushroom sauce, all three of these came in quite large portions. We definitely didn't have room for dessert. After dinner we went onto the rooftop to enjoy the view of the mountains, it's a really nice place to relax. There is a menu with some cocktails and mocktails to choose from, I noticed a bottle of limoncello behind the bar so i thought the barman could make me a limoncello spritz since you could order an aperol spritz but he refused to since, when I asked why he said because it wasn't on the menu but he could pour me a shot of limoncello (which also wasn't on the menu). This seemed strange since the bottle was evidently opened. Besides this, the rooftop was really enjoyable with deckchairs available and a stunning view. The aperol spritz we ordered was well done, good shade and...

We had two unforgettable nights in a row at Bistro Browar Góralski, and while the food was absolutely divine, it was Sasha, our waiter, who made the experience truly exceptional.
Let’s talk desserts first — the honey cake and black forest dessert were mind-blowing. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything quite like them. Then came the nalewka — several glorious shots later, we were fully immersed in the best of Polish hospitality.
But here’s the real hero of the night: Sasha. Despite wearing a “uczę się” (learning) name tag, Sasha handled the entire restaurant single-handedly. From warmly greeting us, recommending dishes, taking orders, and serving — to preparing nalewka and settling the bill — Sasha did it all. With energy, grace, and an attitude that said, “I’ve got this.”
We actually asked for his name at the end because we were so impressed — Sasha from Ukraine, you deserve recognition. Your service was sharp, professional, and full of heart.
Sasha, if you’re reading this — you nailed it, and we sincerely hope your management knows the star they’ve got. We’ll be back soon, and we hope to see you running the floor...
