We came to this restaurant for a family celebration. We have never been in this restaurant before and we were very charmed on the look and the view of the grills and meat. We were also pleased to hear that this night there was a live band playing which make it even more interesting. I have to say I was very disappointed on the lack of interest from the staff. The restaurant was not even half full, yet we had to look arround ask for a place to sit and join tables our self's as the staff did not care. It took 20 minutes to come and ask for our orders. The lack of proffesinalism from the waiter was hard to miss. His recomendation for a beer was" don't take it its all fake" - why your selling it then? We spend good couple of hours there we had to go and find the waiter - wasn't hard he wasn't busy and he was stending by the bar watching people dancing - to order any extras no questions asked about the quality of the food checking if were happy with everything, no interest at all. Also when we asked about packing the remaining food the waiter advised us that he can bring us some boxes and that we can do it our selfs as he wont do it for us. Cant really say that he brought the boxes they just landed on the table! When it came to the bill disaster after waiters lak of interest we decided to think about the tip so we paid the bill and advised that we are still staying for a bit. The waiter then clearly showed his disappointment on the lack of tip and when we say goodbye we heard " just go already" !!!! Was never so happy for not leaving a tip!!!! I want to make clear that the food was amazing so I can't praise that aspect of the visit enough but that guy!!! If the owner is reading this review please do a proper staff meeting as it will ruin your business the food is one thing but no one will -like us ever comming back to you restaurant after...

Don't go there!! So unprofessional staff !! Booked a table for family with kids for dinner , paid entry fee at the entarnce for 4 adults and 4 kids and lady at the entrance advise us to find the table inside ! Which was ridiculous at the beginning coz we booked one! We went inside , no table at all!! So we decided to find any restaurant instead with the table so we could seat down with kids and finally have something to eat. We went back to the lady and explain the situation , she wasn't interested even that we was there 5 minutes and she just ignored us and didn't care at all. I've asked her that I would like to speak with manager, then she said : "I am!" And then she asked her fatty bodyguard to take us out!!!! Seriosly?!?! What a primitives people!! We've been there only 5 min looking for an table , we didn't buy anything. Paid for entrance 800zl (£150). We just felt like they rob us !!!! Anyway we found a good restaurant near by, and spoke with the local people about the situation, they wasn't sopriced!! Apparently in Zakopane is so many tourists that they in WATRA dont care about the quality of service and food because there always will be new pepole coming in. You can see straight away how they serving food over there . Massive portions of meat is seating for hours cooked by the grill and waiting for people. You won't get a fresh meal when you there. It's just impossible!!! I recommend -- Avoid...

a bit too obvious the good reviews were paid for. 😂😂😂

saw a long line to the restaurant last night and decided to try the place out in the afternoon, no one came to receive us at the entrance. waited 5 minutes and decided to find a table myself. ordered a “honey” beer. and ”ground mutton with mushroom sauce and “highlander pancakes” the beer was too sweet but not that bad the ground mutton was awful,(picture). the meat patty i received was obviously frozen before by the texture. the mushroom sauce was jelly like, probably was made with cheap powder the mushrooms tasted like they came out of a can. i didnt eat any of it, disappointing i had to pay 47 Zloty for it.

if you come for the beer, i can definitely tell you theres alot of other places that offer better beer.

if you come for the food i suggest you avoid it and eat at any fast food place since it will be cheaper and with higher quality.

i haven’t seen the evening shows so i cant rate them but honestly i cant see a reason to come only for that since zakopane is known for many restaurants with great food and drinks...
