Regionalny Bar Mleczny — Restaurant in Zakopane

Ate there like 3 times... it is packed, not even by peak times... its right on the bus stop, where the tourists come from the mountains, so bring a little time, or even better... a friend who will save a table, while ye place your orders.

It is like cantina, order, sit, wait for your number called and grab your meal. Its totally fine and the prices are unbeatable for the portions and the taste. Zakopane is quiete expensive but if you like polish kitchen (to me its superb) grab your lunch here... its really good and much. you will fed up.

Only bad thing i can say is that the soft drinks are little (0,2l). But hey, they are cheap and if you want, just order 5 of them :-D

I liked it, despite the fact, that you better try to catch a table outside, cuz inside it can be warm, if you will not sit at a window. And watch your step, there will be traffic with all the guests bringing back their dishes... like cantina...

Still a fine place to eat... why else would i do it 3 times in one week? RIGHT! I found that...

Great food but terrible service. The girl who worked at the cashier today at lunch around 3 pm (black hair) was rude, she didn’t have a change for cash and almost denied serving us, and just kept saying ‘no, don’t have change’. We had to pay card, which we didn’t want to use. This shouldn’t be my issue that there is no change, I am giving you enough to pay for what was ordered. I am reasonable person and if I would be told politely - for example, excuse me, I won’t have change, could you pay by card etc., I would have paid card without any issue. But the attitude we received instead was unacceptable. It’s a shame that now I have to give it 2 stars although food was really good, but the experience at the counter ruined the mood and appetite entirely. The staff needs to be trained how to communicate with a client. P.S. We talked in polish, so it wasn’t ‘language...

Most of the food we had was absolutely delicious (goulash with potatoes and salad, chicken drumstick with potatoes and salad. Super quick too.

Potatoe pancakes weren’t great. Way too thick and rubbery and more like undercooked potatoes with flour. Would be much better if they were crispier and fully cooked. So that was one negative experience.

Staff were very nice. They work very hard with many people not checking their bills and then complaining that something was missed which isn’t the staffs fault however they do their best to accommodate.

There is no organisation when it comes to sitting down so when it’s very busy people stand or order and then get upset they can’t sit. Again - why order if you don’t have a table - wait for table and order or order for takeaway or go somewhere else.

Honestly good place with mostly good food and...
