Yesterday me and my family went to have the breakfast meal , in the menu there was option to have croissant+ jam+coffee for 9:98 zt as offer, i added only butter for that , also my brother had the same but he added one more flat white coffee, when we got the bill, it was totally different, it was mentioned 2 croissant , 2 jam and 2 coffee each one separately with different price which ended up around 15 zt for each offer instead of 9.98 zt , hence, There was difference in the price , i talked to him and asked why the price is different and why is mentioned separately with different price , he said this way is better for us because if he will mention the flat white and the butter as extra the price will be much more higher 😳😄, he refused to change the bill and mention the price as it is in the menu and add the extras , we had to pay more than our bill , he was rude and other staff where standing and lounging , it was very bad experience, i would never visit the restaurant again , and would never advice any one else especially Arabic people to visit the place , its obvious the staff have discrimination...
Read moreThe restaurant is called The Sphinx, and just by the name alone, you can already tell it’s aimed at tourists or part of a chain. Honestly, it was probably the worst dining choice I could have made.
The wait was far too long, the staff were unfriendly, and the food was of very low quality. I started with the pierogi, which were far from impressive. The small grilled bacon bits on top did add a touch of flavor, but that was about the only redeeming element.
For the main course, I ordered a rolled meat dish that resembled a sausage, topped with a bland tomato sauce. The meat itself was poor in quality and lacked any depth of taste. The mashed potatoes on the side were equally disappointing — bland and forgettable.
I couldn’t enjoy this meal at all. I strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. The food lacks flavor, authenticity, and care — it’s simply a tourist trap that fails to deliver on...
Read moreWe ordered the half chicken for two. The chicken was hot on the outside and cold in the middle. Clearly it had been reheated. That would explain why it was so dry, but on a health and hygiene level, it is shocking. We ordered chips and gravy to go with it. None of these arrived with the meal. It wasn’t until we asked about their whereabouts were we told that they were out of gravy! I didn’t even bother asking about the fries as we were banging out heads against a brick wall at this point. The waitress warned us against getting the half chicken as it “wouldn’t be big enough” but the chicken steak would be! I don’t know if she was trying to get us to spend more money, or save us from food poisoning. Very weird experience. Needless to say I’m not feeling quite right...
