YAYA RAMEN — Restaurant in Zielona Góra

The day before eating here I was in Prague for surgery and had tasted ramen there. After surgery I wanted to eat it again but the restaurant was opening way too late so I went home and decided to have a bowl of ramen here. I think the reviews are this high because of lack of comparison. The most important part of this soup (the broth) is absolutely tasteless, to the point my family didn’t want to eat theirs. The noodles are definitely not hand made, overcooked and similar if not the same as the ones you get in instant ramen packets. The ones in Prague were bright yellow ane chewy. I ordered ones with pork ribs but I don’t understand the choice of putting this on the menu, it was very hard to eat out of a bowl with chopsticks. The soft boiled egg was cold in the middle. The waitress forgot bring my father’s drink. We waited a very long time and people who came later got their order first although we might have just picked dishes that require longer time to prepare. My tea was extremely sweet too. I’m quite dissapointed and I do think I’m being quite objective with this review. I might come here again if I see reviews that they had changed but other than that I really don’t recommend coming here, I think you should spend your money on restaurant that tries harder and puts effort into their dishes. I've been hearing about it for a while. I was also quite excited because it's hard to find a proper restaurant that does this type of cuisine in a way that's genuine and tasty. Unfortunately, after yesterday, I have to say I won't be coming back. As much as the vibe of the whole place and the atmosphere built there was nice, the rest was lacking. The best thing we've had was the lemon and butterfly ice tea. Shoyu and Yuzu ramen was ordered. Couldn't finish mine. The chicken felt wrong, slightly undercooked and very bready. The broth was meh. The noodles were definitely not made by them. My partner, much to his demise, finished his vegetarian ramen and got stuck in the bathroom for the entire night. There is a lot of disappointment with this one. I really wanted to like it. It's a shame. At the back of the shop there is a poster that's supposed to be funny. I recently visited this ramen place, and while the service was excellent, there's much to be improved. The interior could use some work, and the quality and taste of the food left a lot to be desired. The ramen we received was bland until we added the condiments, which felt like we were doing the chef's job. However, the waitress promptly addressed our concerns and offered a solution. Additionally, it would be more convenient if they didn't serve whole pieces of beef ribs or duck leg in the ramen, as they are difficult to handle.
