Don't worth to go. The place is nice if you are ready for real portuges culture, it seems to be on someone's home patio. We were ready. But this what we found was really dissapointing. First of all, half of menu you need to call before to order. Really HALF, because what is the rest is almost all meat so no paella, no rice. And from starters not everything is there too. After hearing-this we don' have, this we don't have we ordered bacalau because we didn't want meat and waitress recommended it. Like a starter you have bread, samosa and cheese. Samosa was one of the best thing there. We asked to take from us cheese, because we can't eat lactose. And what? Later we found this cheese, almost 4 eu (nothing? Ok but we didn't even touch it!) on the final account. The worst for me was that my bacalau was RAW! Half of it was cold and raw. The food except being raw, was... Meh. Nothing special. The best actually was... Salad. So I should eat starter samosa and salad and finished on it. But probably I would pay cheese anyway, because it touched my table? Same with bread but ok, its little bit different. Big expectations, horrible experience not to repeat.

We ordered a black pork platter which was delicious. The people next to us ordered a fish dish which also looked super yummy. Seemed like mostly locals in the restaurant as many of the diners appeared to know each other which is always reassuring in a town popular with tourists. No menu in English however waitress was more than happy to translate. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you were looking for an authentic Portuguese experience in beautiful Evora!

This place was amazing. Everything we tried was from scratch and delicious. The mammoas were very good and the cheese was nutty and buttery and so good. But the Iberico Pork platter was the star. The ribs were so tender and fatty good, and the shoulder was a close 2nd and covered in butter. Paulo was great server. This place rocks.
