NATA Lisboa surrendered to the beautiful Vila de Óbidos

Right next to Óbidos Castle we went to discover NATA Lisboa, three of the wonders of the world together, Lisboa, Óbidos and the much loved Pastel de Nata.

It is the ideal place to taste the original recipe of one of the most renowned houses in the manufacture of pastel de nata, but not only that....it has a wide choice of cafeteria for those looking for breakfast, brunch, light lunches or simply tasting some products regional, from wines to cheese and charcuterie.

The space for those in the know is linked to one of the great names in local art, and with this premise the decor and atmosphere are sublime, from the interior to the terrace, it is a quiet and very relaxing space for those who want to leave the main street of Óbidos , which is worth visiting, without a doubt a great honour in memory of Mr. Albino.

The entire team is very friendly, attentive and welcoming, super professional and you feel genuine dedication, everything is done with a lot of love.

When i entered, i specifically pointed out my lactose intolerance. I ordered a lactose free yogurt and was served a with milk yogurt. Half way through eating the yogurt i asked the waitress and she told me it wasn’t lactose free yogurt . Instead of apologizing she said that it wasn’t her fault « but there wasn’t vegetal yogurt any more at the store». To make up for her mistake she proposed that i took a cake saying that it has not milk, but reading the recipe on internet i saw that there is milk inside…Now i have to spend my all day with painful stomach cramps. Thankfully it’s just an intolerance, but if you have dangerous allergy, avoid this place. Of course she didn’t offered any compensation or discount on the bill… I really don’t...
