My husband and sat on the second floor, we walked over a little bridge to get to the otherside. The inside was beautiful, comfortable and quite charming with the exposed rocks and vintage furniture. I had the shrimp fettuccine and my husband had the sirloin. My shrimp and pasta was cooked beautifully, buttery melt in your mouth, the sauce was plain and a bit watery and was lacking. It was also served in a soup bowl which made the portion a little small. The steak was cooked to order, medium well, beautiful char marks and a slight smokey taste, was also missing a bit of salt BUT when paired with the presunto it was perfect. The presunto did not cover the whole steak however. The potatoes were addicting, wish there was more! We choose the Bridão Melot and is was perfect as well. We did not opt for dessert but it was beautifully presented. The waiters spoke english and were very friendly especially the waiter who cleared our table. Overall was a great experience and atmosphere.

Nestled in the Óbidos Medieval area near the Obidos Templar Castle, Petrarum Domus is a small pleasant restauarnt with about 30 pax seating capacity. Restaurant is on top of a hill, wear comfortable shoes! Most of the service staff speak good English, so greeting someone to understand your orders and will generally not a problem. The chorizo was lovely which I recommend as a starter. Remember to ask them for bread to accompany the chorizo. The Portuguese sirloin steak was excellent and was good value. Was there for lunch and it you come early, say around 12 noon, you probably won’t need a reservation.

Not bad but servis and taste could be better in this price level. Dishes look very tasty. (pasta with shrimps- shrimps with black guts, codfish almost without salt or any spices but looks very nice- colorfull veggies, octopus cooked ok but also without good spices) Maybe this is for every tourist but I thought I'm in kindergarden because of faint/bland taste. Menu 'online' with qr-code but restaurant without Wi-Fi (for older or tourist it could be problem).

Poor staff service, especially the cashier counter lady staff wearing red T-shirt (28th Oct 2022 - Billed settled 3pm).

Waited 15min to 20 min no service staff take order. With 3 requested reminders, assigned a new staff with 3 days working experiences and she is doing fine compare with the cashier counter senior staff attitudes.

Red colour T-shirt staff told me beads/spread needs to be requested, which i saw other customers having the bread/spread upon their order while waiting for the food to be served.

The junior staff handed over the bill to me and told me to settle payment at counter as the portable charge card station not available whereby I saw the a black colour T-shirt lady staff brought the portable charge card station to 2 other tables to settle their payments. At the entrance foyer there are in total 3 tables with only 9 dinners. Surprising the service staff not able to manage the order.

It will be good the Restaurant management to review their staff service performance otherwise will impact the restaurant branding image no matters how good the quality of the food. Do not let 1 bad sheep kill the restaurant branding.

Good luck to retain her. Or she needs to go for basic...

Good points: 1)Good food. 2)Very nice quantity. We can even say they are really huge size ^^ 3)Nice decorations.

Strange points: 1)The plates of the starters were not taken away after we've finished it. Even after the main dishes were served, the empty plates of the starters were left on the table all the time till the end of our meal. 2)The waiters are not that busy as it's the period of Covid but still, they cannot see us. We spent a lot of time waiting before being asked for dessert. 3)Pay attention to your bill⚠️ We never have the habit to check our bill in France, but as we only ordered a cheese board, breads, water and our main courses, we see immediately there are several little charges were added to our bill (a sum of 7€ were added to our bill⁉️). They cut this part away when we pointed it out. So it's ok but pay attention to...
