Corda Café — Restaurant in Albufeira

After trying to go to oh grill in the same era and having the waiters look at us and not come to the door to give us a table and having people come to us to not go there, the service at corda cafe was amazing. I would like to give a shout out to Iryna, who I believe was one of the manager at the restaurant. As soon as we came and was waiting for a seat she came to tell us that it was quite busy but she'll get us a table, and kept coming to us to make sure we're were okay whilst waiting. It was such a difference to what we experienced before and she had such positive spirit and amazing customer skills. Average food. The bread, olive and cheese platter (12 euros) is a nice starter to share. My fish of the day dish (seabass and 31 euros) was covered with too much olive oil and had a meagre portion of vegetables. My daughter loved her beef fajitas (33 euros), which are served on a hot skillet. My husband's cod stew dish (33 euros) was OK, but he wasn't a fan of the crisps it comes with. The prices of food and drinks are extortionate. You can get far superior meals in restaurants just outside the resort for a fraction of the cost. Basic tasteless dishes that don’t represent at all the tipical regional portugese food 🙁 And also I still don’t understand the trick with ‘suggested tip’ (10%) when you instead of a client add the tip to the final bill. We are not in US.
