I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem near Pine Cliffs, and it exceeded all expectations. Tucked away from the touristy hustle, this place offers an authentic culinary experience that is a must-try for anyone in the area.

Ambiance: The restaurant's ambiance is inviting and unpretentious, creating a perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The cozy atmosphere is complemented by friendly staff who add a personal touch to the dining experience.

Food: The menu boasts an impressive selection of fresh fish, both by the kilo or portioned out. I opted for the latter and was delighted by the generous portions and exquisite flavors. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, showcasing a commitment to quality.

Price: One of the standout features is the affordability without compromising on taste or portion sizes. The value for money here is exceptional, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

Service: The service is nothing short of excellent. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They create an atmosphere that feels like dining among friends, and their recommendations enhance the overall experience.

Local Flavor: What sets this place apart is its popularity among locals. It's always a good sign when residents frequent an establishment, and it speaks volumes about the authenticity of the cuisine. This is a true hidden gem that captures the essence of local flavors.

Conclusion: In conclusion, this restaurant near Pine Cliffs is a culinary delight that deserves high praise. Whether you're a tourist looking for an authentic experience or a local seeking a reliable spot, this place checks all the boxes. I highly recommend it for its fantastic food, reasonable prices, and warm hospitality. A five-star experience that I will undoubtedly revisit on my next trip...

We ate dinner here when we arrived late evening in Albufeira and didn't have any reservations anywhere. The food was great; best salmon I had at a Portuguese restaurant across both Portugal and back in Newark. My wife and son both enjoyed their meals as well.

Where this place falls short is the service. Servers barely come by the table, and you need to constantly ask the bussers for things or for them to find the servers. The food, while good; took close to an hour to come out. We watched three tables around us that arrived after us, get their food before ours.

No one stops by the table to ask so I needed to get up to investigate the delay.

If they could align their service staff to align with the great food; this place could do so...

I went to this restaurant with my wife last evening. I ordered the fillet steak while my wife ordered the sirloin, what my wife received was a bit of rump while I received a piece of meat which I could not identify. I have been a chef for 35 years and definitely know a fillet steak when I see one, when I informed the waiter that my meal was not a fillet, he did not even try to deny it. Seems to me that if they charge for a fillet and think they can fob you off with an inferior cut, cover it in sauce then this, in my opinion, is a very dishonest way to run a restaurant. What other methods are being used behind the scenes here I wonder. But ripping off the...

Some of the tastiest fish I’ve had in a long time! The flavour of the sea was felt in every bite. We ordered the fish soup and prawn soup for starters and this flavour, I will never forget. The main course was great and flavourful! We ordered the fish cataplana for two which came as a massive portion, it was a struggle to finish but very worth it! Next time we will not order too many starters. The waiters were kind and attentive and explained the menu to us. Very good place and not at all touristic as locals were also present. Would recommend!

For starters I had the fish soup it was very light and flavourful, a perfect start to the dinner. My girlfriend and I shared the Fish Cataplana which was a seafood boil (I am not a big fan of boiled meat or fish in general, this is why it was 3 stars for me. I did not know that the dish was boiled so it is kind of my fault). The next time I come I would eat the grilled fish instead. The wine was satisfactory. This place deserves four stars but I just don’t like boiled fish. The sauce the fish came with was quite salty, but very tasty.

Given the other reviews, we were really looking forward to an authentic Portuguese meal. The restaurant was busy (and had a queue every time we walked past), but the staff were very functional, not very interactive and a bit blunt. Food was ok, the prawns that we had hadn’t be de-veined and we were told it’s a personal choice (never seen it before). Sea bass was well cooked. Overall, ok but disappointed versus expectations.
