Not for dinner.
We went here after actually wanting to go to the place next door, but it was closed (and nowhere mentioned online) after a referral from friends who went here several years ago. They seemed to have the same kitchen, so we went to this place.
The vegetable soup was good, but the meatballs (which actually were just meatball spaghetti) and the chicken were nothing special, and definitely not up to the standard of real Portuguese food. The red house wine was simply terrible, but that can happen. The cake was really bad (we had the cookie cake).
On top of this some of the staff really wasn't very polite and they seemed very chaotic and stressed, even when there were just 7 tables to serve and they had 3 waiters and 1 cook in place.

Read moreThis place is a little hidden gem, located in the Brejos area of Albufeira. It was a quiet night but I feel the service would have been the same if it was busy, very warm and welcoming. The staff were happy to explain the menu and make suggestions!
Great homemade food. I had the burgundy platter to start (not pictured) which is like a ham hock/pate duo with salad, it was huge and so filling!
