Wanted some non-Nandos “piri-piri” chicken - successfully achieved.

• Price €15 including alcohol + dessert • English speaking • Parking about 6-8 on-site; got there for dinner at 7 about 3 other groups; left at 9:30 car-park was full • Service - as other reviews note, not very warm at first, but must say they did become friendlier up (particularly discussing the desserts that they made - and helping us try speaking Portuguese)

Favourite meal: all got the 1/2 piri-piri chicken; came with salad and crispy chips. It seems chickens are smaller than the ones we get back home - more like a “1/3 size” where the drumstick is the same size as the leg on the wing, but filling all the same

Lima is a small family run restaurant just near the Brejos/ Montechoro roundabout and near the new Intermarche Hypermarket. My family and friends have been patrons of this superb eatery for 19 years. Remarkable value down to earth meals. I particularly recommend the Seabass with potatoes and salad. But ask them to hold off on the amount of salt they tend to cook with. Also they have a lovely local white veno verde on tap ,- great fizzy taste....

Just ate a quick meal here this evening. Really tasty, simple and relaxed. Piri piri chicken and sea bream. Sea bream was grilled and delicious. Good menu that includes some children's options. Will return and only regret is not finding it sooner in our holiday as a go to place to eat when staying nearby. Seemed to know their customers and have regular...
