Affordable restaurant that has your typical Portuguese fare alongside side great fish and seafood dishes.

The monkfish cataplana had plenty of fish, as well as other bits of seafood. It was a tad salty, but the rice and tomato salad helped to balance it out.

The seabass and baked octopus were simple but very well executed - highly recommend both if you don't fancy something too heavy.

We sat outside, so service was a bit slower than usual. But, the servers were very helpful and even gave us an extra portion of cataplana (despite us only ordering it...

You can not fault the food and service here. If you want proper home cooked food away from the tourist traps, this as got to be up there 🔥

We tried their afternoon menu which is slightly different to their evening menu, both very popular with the locals I may add which creates a great atmosphere within the restaurant 👌🏻

Please save space for their homemade desserts menu, they are to die for!...

Honestly the best meal I’ve had this year. Got recommended this place by our Uber driver and he got a massive tip because of it. We had a mix of things such as clams and prawns and the cataplanas and chicken. I expected the bill to be hefty at the end but I was shocked to see how cheap it really was, even with two bottles of wine and a couple beers. The staff were amazing and even though not many of them spoke English they made it easy to communicate. We ended up going to nights in a row. Absolute must go if you pass...
