Grease Bar — Restaurant in Albufeira

I recently visited "Grease Bar" after being approached by a PR on the street. I specifically asked if they would be showing the Tyson Fury fight and if it would be with sound. The PR asked the manager, who assured me that they would have sound for the main event. Satisfied with this, I decided to stay and had four drinks over the next hour and a half while waiting for the fight.

However, when the main event started, the bar did not put the sound on, despite their earlier promise. I was told that the bar was too busy now and they couldn't turn on the sound. There was no apology or any attempt to rectify the situation.

As a bar owner myself, I find this kind of dishonesty and lack of customer service unacceptable. Fortunately, I found another bar nearby that was showing the fight with sound, but the experience at Grease Bar was very disappointing.

Worst bar in Albufeira. I went there and they tried to cheat our group with the prices, given that the menu doesn’t show them all. Grease bar isn’t what it was before. The atmosphere and vibe isn’t nearly as good as the 2019 days and before.

The management has changed, the drinks aren’t as good, the pints suck and those tall cocktails with straws, sparklers and fruit? Gone. The place was empty the night we went on the weekend whilst rest of the strip was booming....
