Jungle Brunch & Drinks — Restaurant in Albufeira

I do not recommend visiting this establishment. The space is pleasant, well decorated and spacious. This alone already had something to be a successful place. However, several things happened that made me not want to go back there. The order was placed: a Jungle Board (consisting of Pastéis de Nata, Donuts, Waffles, Croissants, Bread, Nutella, Pumpkin Jam, Strawberry Jam, Banana, Blueberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon) two Orange juices . When ordering, a member of staff informed us that there was no orange juice, so we opted for lemonade. No problem. Furthermore, he also informed us that they didn't had Pastéis de Nata to include on our board, so he told us that we wanted to exchange it for eggs or bacon. That's fine for us. After placing the order, we waited around 1 hour for it to arrive at our table. There is no justification for this, as, in addition to the restaurant being empty, the contents of the board did not justify such a long waiting time. The food arrived. It wasn't anything special. Low quality and quantity for the price. Extra eggs were not included to replace the lack of Pastéis de Nata. Furthermore, no Donuts were served (as indicated on the menu) and we were not even informed that this element would be missing, just like the Pastéis de Nata. The staff member's justification was that he didn't know about this because he has not been at the establishment in the last two days. When the food arrived, no individual plates were placed. The cutlery was dirty, with traces of food on it. I was extremely disappointed with this experience that seemed to have potential. I don't recommend it and I certainly won't...

This is not something I would recommend. We arrived at 13.00 and it took them 30 min just to get us the menu to be able to order. After we ordered it took 1,5h to even get the food. When it had been 50 min from ordering I asked the guy with white/silver hair that worked there how long the food is coming to take (with a smile and good tone) he sassy answers “you have only been here for 20 min”.. I just let him be. When the food then arrived it looked good esthetically and the Benedict with salmon was really tasty. But it was not worth the rating it has. The pancakes was just dry and tasteless. Even after when we wanted to pay they just walked past us even when we had said we wanted to pay and was standing by the counter for 15 min..

Everything is just taking such longer time that it need to… our visit was almost 3h and of those 3h we spent like 15-20 min on eating and the rest on waiting.

Big no for...

Had a great time trying out Jungle for brunch with a group of friends recently. We all ordered something different, and everything from the perfectly poached eggs to the Acai bowl was delicious. We all left happy and full!

The place has a strong Instagram vibe, with lots of colorful, quirky spots that are perfect for photos. It’s definitely designed with social media in mind, which is something nice if you’re into it. It adds a unique twist to the atmosphere, although it might not be for everyone.

The service really stood out too. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, making sure our large group was well taken care of. Plus, the 3D menu was a hit—it was so fun to see our food options in 3D before deciding what to order!
