We went to see the Strip (famous party road) close by, and after having too loud music, too bad alcohol drinks, we saw a place with a menu written in Portuguese and oh my goodness, what a relief. Didn't try the food, but the service was kind (we spoke in Portuguese), the amarginia served as a great quantity and the beer was cold and well served. The price also has nothing to do with the bars close by. Very happy with our discovery and the drink at the place, although I am unableto comment on the quality of food! For 2 small beers and an amarginia (portuguese Amaretto) we payed 6€30 Just be careful because the place accepts only cash. There is an ATM close by but the fees are quite high.

If you want real local food in Albufeira, this the one to go to! They have daily fresh fish dishes, THE BEST piri piri chicken and them locally made desserts, yum yum yum! Must mention the fact that the service is great for the busy environment and one person on the floor! Just know they DO NOT take cards, cash only, but there is an ATM 1minute away so its not a problem at all! Just to mention: there are dishes you need pre order like sea food rice, squid and some others, so they can get it in advance as its all fresh! The cook knows his food, its delicious to say the least! 🤤

Not our first visit as a firm favourite when on holiday in the area. We were delighted to see nothing has changed. Pedro the owner is as helpful and obliging as ever. Food is excellent as always , on our second visit of the week we had the Pork and Clams Cataplana , which has to be preordered. Absolutely delicious and a special dish Served with chips which were ideal to soak up the great sauce. I also had the fig desert which was lovely. We will be back next year. Thank you Pedro.

It doesn't look very imposing from the outside, don't let that put you off. It's not a big place but the food is very good. Family run with great food and good cooking. Very reasonably priced menu. I had the best steak I've eaten in Albufeira for 14€. No fresh fish when we were here, and not to many option for vegetarians. My wife had swordfish which she enjoyed.
