Praia da Oura (Leste) — Attraction in Albufeira

Very nice sand with secluded beach areas among the rocks giving opportunity to be away from crowds if desired. There are a few spots with rock just below the sand but in most areas you can walk bare foot using normal caution.. Great photo location and a good walking beach. At low tide you can get around rock outcroppings and make about a 15 minute trip from end to end. There are fairly easy hiking trails that take you over the hills at either end, allowing access to the beach at Fisherman's village to the west and several long beach areas to the east. Small relaxing beach located around two miles east of albufeira old town. Some parts are not great for swimming or paddling as there are lots of large rocks on the beach, but you may see some fish and marine life. so caution is advised. It Can be very busy in the summer as it is close to a few local hotels. Cozy and comfortable sand beach. Water in summer is good, not too cold. It's mostly rocky to go into the water but there are some spots without rocks. Great option if you are staying in the region. Probably not easy to park if you come by car. Good restaurants, but one of them doesn't accept cards, only cash. Funny enough, it becomes less crowded between 12h and 14h.
