Restaurante O Ribeirinho is a hidden gem. Located away from the hustle and bustle and hidden behind a cluster of trees, this restaurant is something special. I had the great pleasure of visiting the restaurant recently and was blown away by the quality of the food, the remarkable service, and the inviting atmosphere. The menu consists of traditional Portuguese dishes with a modern twist. Everything tasted delicious and was presented beautifully. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Each step of the way, from menu suggestion to payment, was swift, friendly, and professional. The restaurant is cozy, casual, and quaint. The decor is simple and warm; you can tell they take pride in maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. The outdoor terrace is a nice option for those looking to soak up some sunshine and enjoy the fresh air while they dine. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend checking out Restaurante O Ribeirinho. From the wonderful food to the inviting atmosphere and exceptional service, this place will not disappoint.

You won't be disappointed! I wish I could eat more chicken! It is one of the best Portuguese Chicken Restaurant in the area! Thu at 7pm, there was few big and small tables already. We thought we would be the first one as the restaurant was just reopened at 7pm in the evening! Two people ordered 1/2 chicken each ( spicy and no spicy), shared tomato salad & bread. We didn't want to be too full. Normally we had the same size of portions plus fries at another restaurant but we couldn't finish. so we skipped fries this time. It was enough for two. We would prefer the spicy one. It wasn't too spicy so we both liked it. Plus a bottle of still water & 1/2 bottle of red, it was 23 euro. Good value! When we left at almost 8pm, the restaurant was more than half full. We will definitely return for another ground of chicken!

This is the best per peri chicken on earth. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and it’s amazing. There are only a few dishes on the menu but basically it’s grilled chicken, fries and salad. The incredible. You won’t want to eat this dish again in your own country after tasting this. It gets busy at lunchtime but you can’t book so do consider you may need to queue but they’re fast so you generally won’t wait longer than half an hour for a table depending on your group size. Use your fingers to eat. It’s the best way. Will go back a million %. It’s the best. Possibly one of my favourite ever restaurants due fo the value.

I have been coming here for over 25 years, since the restaurant was in the front house. Serving the typical chicken 'piri piri', a standard good quality meal is always provided. Please don't have the expectation of a Nando's if you have not had the local piri piri. I have seen the prices creep up over the years, at a rate that's a little too steep compared to inflation. It can be rammed during the summer high season, so make sure you come early or late to get a table. I will keep coming back for sure.

Chicken was really good and atmosphere was lively. Although service was lacking. Our server was in rush to move us. Also, we ordered bread of basket and server told us to get butter and brought four small pieces of butter/mantega and charged us 4.50 Euro!! For small four pieces of butter, which I felt was highway robbery. Chicken was the only saving grace; otherwise this place is overhyped.

Went there on a Sunday, around 2 PM. After giving our names to the waiter, the waiting time was short (~5 minutes). The service was quite fast, the waiters were friendly and the food (the renowned chicken piri-piri) was quite good for a fairly reasonable price. Between the main course, a couple of desserts and drinks, I ended up paying €32 for the overall meal (~€16 pax).
