We have visited the Algarve many times over the last few years & generally stay around Guia as it is not over run with tourism. It is a lovely mainly local village with some Ex pats, one of the most popular meeting points is the Guia football club snack bar. Pool of grease, chicken was uncooked, red at least half. I mean it's Guia for god's sake. Sent the chicken back. It returned burnt outside red inside again. Ate the chips in the meantime. Read moreWe ate here on a few occasions as we staying in guia. The staff are really nice and food is really good too. We have been here just for drinks aswell and the staff are lovely . The place seems to always have customers around so maybe be a local hotspot. The 1 thing we did notice that everyone that ate there always ordered the snails maybe they are the best around there who knows, I have never tried them so not so sure.
