Absolutely first class experience. We were not expecting to find this level of quality Japanese food. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff with warm smiles, offered to be seated inside or outside. We chose to to sit outside and the sun was still shining, however blankets were offered if required, a nice touch. Now, we are lovers of Japanese food especially sushi. Sashimi, nigiri and maki rolls are always ordered and I have to say this here is up within the top 5 that we have dinned at around the world, yes a big statement I know but this is my experience. Not only is the food exception the whole experience was, the demeanor of the staff, how proud and professional they are about what they are providing you was clear to all. Me and my friend came to Portugal for few days and so we had a chance to try different restaurants each night. We saved sushi place for the last night as it is one of our favourite cuisines to eat and we are happy that we did! Odessa is beautiful restaurant with a very friendly staff. We tried at least 10 different dishes out of the menu and each of them was delicious! And we definitely are picky when it comes to a sushi. Presentation of each dish was amazing and everything was super fresh. We finished our meal with a dessert and oh my goodness!! The tiramisu was so tasty, all components were very well balanced and the apple gyoza with ice cream - the hot and cold combination perfect!! This is a hidden gem in Algarve 🤌 I love sushi and had a chance to try it in many places around the world, but this one is really a madness, for sure best in the Algarve area. Quality of ingredients is just top level, food is flavourful and surprises you with every single bite. I am lucky to live nearby currently and already visited it 7 times. Absolutely recommended, you will love it! Must try in my opinion are: gunkan with salmon, ebi roll with salmon, crab hosomaki, tuna tartare, yellowish ceviche and salmon nigiri from tasting menu 🫠 but honestly, I already tried almost every dish from the menu and everything is delicious.
