Restaurant Halal Amir Market Boucherie et Grill — Restaurant in Albufeira

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The staff at Halal Amir Market Boucherie et Grill were unbelievably rude and downright hostile. From the moment we walked in, we were met with scowls, cold stares, and an attitude that made us feel completely unwelcome. They acted like serving us was a chore, ignored us when we tried to ask questions, and snapped at us for no reason. One staff member even slammed our plates down without saying a word. It was genuinely uncomfortable — like we were intruding on their private gathering rather than paying to eat there.

As for the food — absolutely disgusting. The meat was rubbery and flavorless, the rice tasted old, and everything was drenched in oil. Nothing was fresh, nothing was well-cooked, and it all looked as bad as it tasted. We left most of it on the plate, completely put off by how badly prepared it was.

Avoid this place at all costs. Horrible staff, terrible service, and food that belongs in the bin, not on a plate. How this place is even in business...

Excellent food & great service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had burgers , baguettes & skewers on different days during our holiday to this beautiful city. Every meal was well prepared & scrumptious. On the last day , we had a whole grilled chicken platter which is something not to miss. On Christmas eve, we had trouble finding milk for our toddler as all stores closed early. We came here to ask where we could buy it, and even though they don't sell it, the owner got a carton from his shop groceries and gave it to us for free.
