For being located on the main strip of shops and eateries and also having a stage in the premises, I imagine the day to night experience in this place varies. We visited during the afternoon when the pubs were pretty quiet. It had a lovely wooden type appearance inside. There was also outdoor seating. Sitting under shelter was nice as it was next to ther bar, spacious, few other customers at this time. We just wanted to get off our feet, out of the sun and to quench out thirst. Also potentially a toilet stop. Simply bar accommodated to all our needs, including an ashtray. Service with a smile goes a long way. If put at ease upon ordering your drinks, you're in good stead fo be relaxed and enjoy your time. Alcoholic drink or not. There was a food menu, although we only ordered drinks. Do great cocktails, if that's what you like. Fresh lime added to Pepsi plus straw and ice without having to ask. The toilets are of a clean standard. There is a communal sink, plus a sink in the toilet to each hands. There are two toilets, 1 Male and 1 female. There may have been a disabled toilet to the back of where I was standing but I couldn't be certain. I found this last comment I'm about to make rather fascinating as I've never saw anything like it before! At the bar, there was a mini vending machine? Resembling the mini toy one's seen in the UK. It sold nuts in separate cans, with an easy put foil lid. There were four varieties of cans of nuts; Cashew & peanut, pistachios, peanuts and a fourth, cashews? Friendly staff, didn't have to shout our conversation and sitting slightly back from the main street made a huge difference in the noise level and heat. It can feel pretty hectic and even overwhelming on the strip (main high street), however sitting in Simply bar was enjoyable, relaxing and I felt we were having a civilised conversation. It certainly didn't feel as though we weren't right on...
Read moreThe worst service I have come across in Albufeira, I asked to use the ladies toilets and these pictures is what I was shown to, I have never felt so disguised in my life. I asked 3 members of staff if someone could clean the toilets and not one member of staff helped their reply was simply I didn’t do that mess not my job. How can a ‘bar’ so unhygienic like this still be...
