Urban Pizza — Restaurant in Albufeira

Urban Pizza for my family & I was an exceptional experience start to finish and one of the best restaurants in the strip area. What a way to stimulate all your senses.

To begin, there was a band playing african style music throughout our visit. We got a table almost directly in front of them and it made our visit that much better.

Service was quick and friendly from all involved. The food was on another level. I've had a couple of steaks this week but the ribeye here was melt in the mouth, succulent and moist. Nothing compares. The prawn cocktail to start was equally as good. They also serve a great Sagres in here too. I really didn't want to leave. To finish off we were given Tawny port to finish at no cost.

Also, when you pop the toilet, all the sinks are racing themed with tyre basins, gas pedals to start water flow and petrol pump taps. It's a sight to behold.

I was on 3rd of September visiting the city (traveling from Lagos towards Albufeira) and the salad I've ordered had raw mussels in it after eating couple of these. I called the manager but she said: "Why you didn't asked in the first place if they will be cooked or not?" - on a loud voice, the terrace being full of customers. I replied: "When you order a steak at a restaurant, do you ask the waiter if they will cook it for you?" I ended up paying the salad which they didn't change and had food poisoning diagnosticed by a local medical centre. Private. Coming back to UK, I tried to get in touch with them, finally Geral replied my email and assured me an internal investigation is to be carried out. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The food? Delicious doesn’t even begin to cover it! Every bite was full of flavor – perfectly cooked pizza with a crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Easily some of the best pizza we’ve had in Portugal!

And let’s not forget the service – TT, our waiter, was an absolute star. Friendly, attentive, and with a cheeky charm that made the night even more memorable. (Let’s be honest – he’s not just a great server, he’s also very easy on the eyes! 😏) No need to get a side with your main course with eye candy like TT.
