We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with a stunning view of the Sado River from the terrace. The atmosphere was truly enhanced by the beautiful colors of the summer sky as the sun was setting. The food was excellent, with the local Alcácer do Sal rice dish with seafood being a highlight—delicious and generously portioned. We appreciated being able to take the leftovers home in a nice container. The drinks were expertly prepared, which is rare for many restaurants, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

Nessun pasto consumato caro “direttore”lei oltre che incompetente è anche bugiardo. Magari avessimo consumato il pasto Abbiamo solo assaggiato la coca cola e il pane tant’è vero che il conto era di 4€ Ora spiego nel dettaglio quanto accaduto : In viaggio da Lisbona a Lagos decido di fare una sosta in questo paesino lungo il tragitto per un pranzo veloce con mia figlia. Entriamo alla cieca in questo posto, ci fanno accomodare e subito ordiniamo una porzione di sardine alla griglia da condividere, due insalate e due coca cola. Arriva il bere e del pane nel giro di pochi minuti. Passano anche con i consueti antipasti che rifiutiamo poiché abbiamo poco appetito. Dopo 40 minuti di attesa, vedendo che il ristorante si stava svuotando e che non arrivava nulla, ho chiesto al cameriere quanto mancasse dato che dovevamo proseguire il viaggio. Dopo un po ritorna con il menù in mano e ci dice che le sardine erano finite. lo gli ho detto che ce ne saremmo andate perché non è tollerabile che solo dopo 40 minuti e dietro mio sollecito ti accorgi di non avere più sardine. Premetto che, le coche erano quasi intere e non ritenevo giusto doverle pagare dato che l'errore è stato loro, quindi mi sono alzata e ho detto che andavamo via.

Proprietario che neanche si era accorto del fatto che noi stessimo aspettando ciò che non sarebbe mai arrivato pur continuando a girare per i tavoli ha iniziato ad urlare come un pazzo che dovevamo Pagare le bibite insultandomi e dandomi della ladra e dicendomi di non parlare inglese ma portoghese perché eravamo in Portogallo. Gli ho detto che fare ristorazione non è esattamente ciò che fa lui, gliel'ho detto in italiano e ha capito.

The service on this day was not up to standard, very slow, and without any attention to customers due to lack of staff. Thus the 3* rating. Excellent view and good location overlooking the river Sado and the old bridge. Very tasteful regional food. We have eaten the Arroz de Ligueirāo com Amêijoas e Camarão, excellent and “malandrinho”, Carne de Porco à Alentejana it was delicious and finally Bacalhau à Brás was the best ever, although the one of my mum is better. All of this was accompanied with a very good Sangria de Espumante. A good option for a week-end lunch...
