À do Márinho in Beja offers an exceptional dining experience for meat lovers and fans of authentic Portuguese flavors.
We tried the Tábua Porco Preto and Tábua Vaca, and they were incredibly tasty. The pork was tender and juicy, especially the Lombinho and Presa Ibérica, which had just the right level of seasoning and a smoky grilled finish. The beef was equally impressive, with the Entrecôte Trinchado standing out due to its tenderness and bold, savory taste. The addition of a lemon wedge enhanced the flavors perfectly.
The accompaniments were simple yet delicious. We opted for batata frita (fries) and a salad of fresh tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. The olive oil drizzle and sea salt over the vegetables brought out their natural sweetness.
Already when we enteted the restaurant they did set up thevtable with two delightful platters of olives, chorizo, and cheese together with fresh hot bread. The olives were fresh and flavorful, complementing the rich, smoky chorizo and smooth cheese.
To finish off the meal, we enjoyed Mousse de Chocolate and Serradura (Portuguese sawdust pudding). The desserts were rich yet light, with the mousse being smooth and indulgent, while the serradura offered a creamy texture with a crunchy biscuit topping.
The interior of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with modern décor that still reflects traditional Portuguese charm. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was pleasant from start to finish.
Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and the menu offers a variety of meats, fish, and sides. Whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch or a more indulgent dinner, À do Márinho delivers an unforgettable experience.

Read moreBest sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. This sandwich alone is worth moving to Portugal for. Seriously get on a plane right now and come have the Bifana sandwich. P.s: To Maria Matias who gave this place 2 stars because the sandwich is not served on a plate, you are an idiot and Jesus is not happy with how you review...
