Unfortunately we had a disappointing evening at Pinguinhas. Firstly, our waiter did not know the menu nor the prices and then he was substituted. The other waiter clearly had hid hands full, so it took a very long time before we were able to order. We were recommended a 400g ribeye stake with fries and salad for two (25€ - significantly more expensive than other entrees) and chose it. From a party of 5, the first of us received food after hour. This place was a gem of a find. It was very quiet when we walked by at 7pm on a weeknight, but looked interesting so we went in. The owner came to serve us, as he spoke some English, and he was a jovial fellow, passionate about his food. We basically let him bring us stuff and were not disappointed. Hard to tell from the outside but that is actually a large plage. The service was impeccable and friendly. The suggestion from the server were outstanding. Try the melted. Heese with bread and the house specialty. They are simply exquisite.
