Camada Braga Carandá — Restaurant in Braga

Had lunch. food was great. To start off I was rudely told to be quiet by the server when i was only trying to order a drink, she literally put her finger up to her mouth for me to shush. My friends tried ordering a super bock. the server who didn’t even say a hi or hello points to her a shirt for us to acknowledge that the restaurant is sponsored by Sagres. She didn’t say a single thing and just expects us to understand her. It was our first time here, we aren’t even from here. She proceeds to belittle my friend by saying ‘I’ll repeat myself one more time’ when she had never mentioned anything before. The food comes around and I was sitting between 2 people, she rolls her eyes at me because she had reach over in order to hand me my food. She also gave us attitude when we had mentioned that she completely forgotten one of our drinks for the second time Another server showed up and almost knocked over a cup of beer and didn’t even acknowledge us or apologize. Our friend had come here before and had told us about how good the food and the service was so honestly after a long afternoon we were pretty disappointed and felt uncomfortable and unwelcome in the establishment. Having worked as a server I completely understand having bad days, however in all my years of experience i’ve never took out my frustration on strangers who were only trying to enjoy a meal. We arrived yesterday in Braga and found Camada Braga by off-chance. What a find! It's a busy Sunday lunchtime and we had to wait for a short time for a table - but it was worth it. We all enjoyed, like the other customers, a Francesinha, a Portuguese sandwich with bacon, chorizo, steak, topped with melted cheese, an egg and the very tasty traditional sauce. It was delicious.
