11/07/2025 With the absence of Snr. Antonio, who was truly the heart and soul of the restaurant, I’m sorry to say that the unique atmosphere we once cherished has changed. What used to feel like a warm, personal, and memorable experience now feels more transactional and ordinary. That special sense of being genuinely welcomed and made to feel at home—both for us and our guests—seems to be missing.

We sincerely hope that Snr. Antonio returns, as his presence brought a warmth and charm that made every visit truly special.

23/12/2024: Sr. Antonio was again absolutely amazing and he always goes above and beyond. It was my daughter’s 25th Birthday and they went all out to make the evening a special occasion. With an amazing birthday message hand written on a plate which was so memorable. The food was again amazing and full of flavour, great quality and great service. From the moment we walked in, even though it was nearing closing time, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by Vasco. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable lunch.

Vasco went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, treating us not just as customers, but as guests. It's rare to experience such sincere service, and I can confidently say this is by far the best service I’ve ever had in a restaurant in Portugal—if not in any restaurant!

And the food… absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, prepared to perfection, and beautifully presented. From the starters to the desserts, everything was simply divine. You can taste the care and passion in every bite.

Our first impression of the restaurant was the warm greeting by Antonio. He welcomed us as we were old friends coming back from a long trip. Antonio expertly guided us through the menu: advising us what we should or not order. His recommendations were spot-on. The quality of the food was only surpassed by the service of the incomparable Antonio. Everything was cooked properly and well seasoned. We ordered a few appetizers that we loved like the cheese balls, nachos and calamari. Afterwards, we ordered the salmon, veal steak, picanha, and the mixed national. I have no words for the exquisite dessert we had: mousse de limón, crepes and 4 others! Just scrumptious. We have loved everything! If we ever come back to Braga, this restaurant will be the first and only that we visit....
