WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My friends and I booked a room at this hostel for two nights, indicating our expected arrival time as 15:00. However, at 14:30 on the very day of check-in, I received an email informing me that our booking was cancelled, just 30 minutes before we were supposed to arrive. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told they had overbooked and there was nothing they could do to help. There was no apology, no explanation, just a flat refusal to assist. Their complete lack of communication and consideration is unacceptable. Because it was the 15th of August we couldn’t find any alternative accommodation at such short notice. This forced us to drive three hours back home, ruining our trip entirely. What makes this even worse is that they didn’t even bother to call or warn us in advance. I had to call them myself to discover our reservation was suddenly cancelled. A simple courtesy call earlier that day could have saved us from this nightmare. I strongly advise against booking here. They clearly prioritize overbooking above customer service, and their last-minute cancellations have serious consequences. This was an incredibly stressful and disappointing...
Read moreWorst experience ever. I stayed there almost a month because I couldn't get a refund or relocate myself. The kitchen is absolutely disgusting in every aspect and has very few accessories, most of them are damaged. The fridge is tiny and people would steal all my food. The freezer wouldn't even close because of how full it was. The room was absolutely tiny just below the roof without any form of thermal insulation whatsoever. It was an absolute furnace even at night. No curtains on the windows, and neither on the room's glass door. Tiny windows that wouldn't allow proper air circulation. The bed was all flimsy and unstable. The bathroom had no shower curtain, and the toilet had no lid. Plus the sewer smell would spread across both the bathroom and the room. This is the worst place to have a stay in Braga, please do NOT go there and prefer other options slightly further...
Read moreThe people working and helping out are very nice, like our bags were brought upstairs. But: the kitchen was dirty, the bed was horrible (see picture: a very thin mattress on a few poles, so you sank through them) and if you needed to shower or poop, you had to wait for the other to leave the bathroom. So the wait was long. There is no WiFi. We woke up the first day to our surprise with a dog in the room. The first day there was no toiletpaper, but they fixed that the following days. A girl slept in a bed without any bedding? There was one closet for bags and stuff, but when I had put mine in to have at least some space in the room, it was put out of the closet again. Our food, although being labeled, was gone anyway. You'll be very close to the city centre and that's...
