The team at Tomi Sushi understood what most restaurants don't: the way you greet your customers, the first impression, it goes a long way. Both times I was there I felt very special. Every person from the staff greeted me with a smile and a "good evening". Then the decoration. It's beautifully decorated and you can sit either in a booth or table/chairs (I personally love booths!). Finally the food: it's AMAZING. When you're eating sushi the size really matters. It can't be too big. I've been to other restaurants where you almost need a knife to cut your sushi. But not at Tomi's. The size and quality and presentation were perfect. But for me, what REALLY made a difference is that I asked for the dishes not to have sesame seeds (a person at my table could not have them due to medical condition). Majority of the places, people forget and end up including them. But atTomi Sushi they not once forgot. It was amazing! It's my new favorite place in Braga and I will for sure return...
Read moreThe price/size of the takeout boxes are NOT worth it and had to take allergy medicine because of incompetence.
When we got in, we asked the waitress if she speaks Spanish, English and even Galician (that is kinda a combination of Spanish and Portuguese). The girl rolled her eyes, took another waitress, put her in front of us and left without saying a word to us or the other staff.
For my box (A22) I asked WITHOUT dairy since I'm anaphylactic. I said it in Spanish, English, Portuguese (translator), NO milk, cheese, no dairy, they repeated it back. I even showed my EpiPen for them to know how serious it was. Still made mine with cream cheese. We asked for a re do and they laughed at our faces, and reluctantly "did it". But when we got to the flat, they had made them again with cream cheese. I had to give it away and since I've tried one near by, I started swelling.

Read moreI came here for lunch with friends, and ended up in a big confusion. Employees forgot some of our requests and even after we reminded them they wouldn't bring it and kept staring at us because they thought we were taking too long. The food isn't made on-spot and they only put it in a plate and bring it to the table. No taste at all and the fish was cutted roughly and with no care. The atmosphere is alright but the constant need to call for an employee wouldn't help us set comfortable. In the end, we ended up paying what i consider too much for food i could've brought in a...
