We entered the restaurant with high hopes and got rewarded. The space is decorated in a very open and franc fashion. As we enter our eyes immediately find a niche on the wall, where a half a dozen wine bottles carefully hint the owners good taste. We are seated in simple tables, but well presented. The waiter helps us choose and reads our minds by suggesting dishes and portion, without overselling. The menu is vast enough, and also includes day specials, including fresh fish. For starters we are presented with a basket filled with cheese, and hams. Delicious. While some of us had a traditional "cozido", other choose the acclaimed garlic steak. We choose to drink local wine and were delighted with these choices. Both dishes were well executed, and delicious. For desert I recommend a locally done chocolate mousse. I find the price range adequate, with average portion price of 9~10€. Tip: do not arrive late as the restaurant quickly becomes crowded.
