La Piazza Pizzeria — Restaurant in Caldas da Rainha

Great food and reasonably priced. 4 of us ate with 3 appetizers and 4 main dishes and 5 beverages. Total was 59 euros. The inside seating is nice, but small. Nice outdoor seating on the plaza under umbrellas if the weather is nice. We had some great bread appetizers stuffed with olives and cheese along with an order of garlic prawns. All of it was very good. Pizza is nice and crispy crust with plenty of toppings. The salad was huge and looked good as well. The person eating it said it was great. 4 cleaned plates all topped off with wonderful service. There is underground parking (paid) about 50 meters away and some limited street parking. Our Airbnb host highly recommended this place right next door to our building and since our first dinner choice didn't work out, we decided to get a pizza at this 4.7 star place.

Since it had rained, we weren't able to dine outside, so we ordered a pizza to go. The owner let us order drinks to enjoy outside while we waited, a good house red and a Super Bock.

The pizza was fantastic with a very tasty thin crust and a perfect sauce.

While we were there, the small place filled up quickly and lots of people came to pick up orders to go.

Definitely worth the 4.7 stars. Highly recommend this...

I would definitely recommend this place!

Today I went to this place, which I found on google maps, without a reservation. It was very busy but gladly they still had place for two people.

We took a starter, both a pizza (large) and drinks and one dessert. This brought our total on 24€. The food was really good and has good quality. The staff was very friendly and polite. The portions are great too.

A little downside is that you can only pay cash or with a Portugese card. You can withdraw money on the other side of the square. We’ve eaten inside and when it’s busy it’s a little but noisy but it’s totally worth it. I will...
