Adega Do Monte, as its name suggests, is an old-school, family/business type restaurant serving well-prepared typically mainstream Portuguese dishes in substantial portions.
It still works well in Covid-times because it is spacious (entirely open rectangular) which lends itself easily to social distancing. The management - which is refreshingly matter-of fact, no-fuss efficient - set up their restaurant immediately to suit the new restrictions which they have maintained admirably subsequently.
The full menu is extensive including a daily choice of popular Portuguese favourites which always contains something to entice me so that I never need to progress into the full menu.
The waiters are friendly always willing to offer knowledgeable advice on food and wines, the service is generally excellent. The restaurant usually has flavourful fruits on hand and if you ask they can tell you where in Portugal they are produced.
