I used to come here often. However, this last time was more than enough to override all those pleasant times. We called in advance since our company had a "beach work day" and they said it was fine. When we arrived, they said we could sit wherever, since it was empty. All was good except with one employee who started complaining from 10 meters away, we didn't even realize he was talking to us. Saying we couldn't be there, and we had to be at a corner table (it was just 2 tables away), we were in the middle of a quick meeting, we agreed, but just asked for a couple of minutes. He was passive-aggressive, went to the speaker next to us, and put it on maximum volume (we were already in a corner, which's why we were so close to the speaker). He kept complaining from afar, we went to talk to him to say we would move and even leave, just give us 2 minutes, he started calling names "parvalhão" saying there wasn't even a need to talk. I assume he was the manager since no other employee knew about this except for him. Extremely poor service, clearly hungry for tourists only who spend rivers of money. We left immediately after the verbal abuse. We weren't there to go against his wishes. We were just...

I came here because it was the only place open on Sunday evening while I was out for a walk. My intention was to have a glass of wine & a light bite. No glasses of wine available only ridiculously overpriced bottles absolutely not in alignment with the quality of the establishment. Every dish was very expensive with an extra “nighttime” charge… unbelievable considering I was seated outside & at this time of year it was pitch black & freezing cold… I was visibly shivering & not offered a blanket or a seat inside. I got a green salad… it sure was a green salad, some leaves with 4 slivers of onion. The cured cheese & a glass of whiskey. Upon ordering I told the waiter I wanted to pay immediately… he assured me this was no problem… even asked “cash or card?” but then I was forced to wait over an hour & needed to ask multiple more times for the bill, despite being done with my snack in 15 minutes. Very...

It's both a restaurant and a bar. It has a lovely view and great cocktails, but the smoke is unbearable, even in the non-smokers zone. There's kilometres and kilometres of free space around that restaurant, but people in Portugal insist on smoking close to other people (unfortunately). I was under the impression that you have to ask the staff to turn the ventilation system on, otherwise they'll keep it off. The cocktails are made with fresh ingredients and cost around 6 euros. There's some exciting karaoke some days of the week. There's always many people serving, and the service is decent. The food is OK, and so are the prices (meals are usually more expensive by the sea). There's loads of free parking space in the other side of the road, you'll just have to walk for a few meters after parking. The wc is a bit smelly, but I believe it has more to do with the plumbing than with the...

When it comes to selection, this is the place to go! I did only rate the food at 4 stars, but the location on the beach made up for my meal. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere makes for a good place to eat when in the area. There is seating outside if you want to hear the waves of the ocean. I did notice several menu items were made for two people. These cost around €39. I would put the average meal her right at the €20 mark, including a drink. The restaurant does have free wifi if needed. If you are with a stroller, you may want to fold it down, as every food place on the beach has limited space. Overall, this is a great place to eat!
