Opíparo — Restaurant in Cascais

I recently visited this beach snack bar with high hopes of enjoying a relaxing day by the sea, but my experience was utterly ruined by the outrageous prices they charge for their snacks. I understand that beachfront establishments tend to have higher prices, but what I encountered here was simply highway robbery!

I ordered a simple tosta mista (grilled cheese sandwich) and was shocked to see the exorbitant price tag attached to it. €10 for a basic sandwich is beyond unreasonable, and the taste certainly didn't justify the cost. The portion size was laughably small!! It's evident that this snack bar is preying on unsuspecting tourists who just want to enjoy a day at the beach without breaking the bank.

My advice to fellow beachgoers is to avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other establishments along the shoreline that offer reasonably priced and delicious snacks, without trying to take advantage of their customers.

In conclusion, I left this beach snack bar feeling ripped off and disappointed. I will certainly never return and would caution others against falling into the same trap. Choose wisely and steer clear of this overpriced...

what an awful experience. let ne just say the food was average and overpriced AT BEST. we informed staff we are vegetarian and enquired if they had any plates suitable, they had a few so we decided to sit down to eat. the first horror was the bathroom which was disgusting and not a single toilet had any toilet paper, there was also a used tampon on the floor. we orderes a margarita pizza. towards the end of the meal I tasted HAM in my mouth and lookes and saw MORE ham in the cheese of the pizza, which my 3 year old daughter who has never eaten meat in her life also ate. god know what other food contamination this place has. visit lisbon every year since childhood and this was my first and LAST time ever going to this place....

Just stopped to drink s.th. while resting with a view on the beach. The view is nice. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but still ok. It's clear that everything is a bit higher priced here. Experiences: service was rather unattentive. I had a strawberry milkshake, which was ok, but not good (sirup based). I then thought, they have a nice list of cocktails: this proved a very bad idea. - the pina colada was outright the worst thing, I ever had. Barely recognizable at such. I wonder, why they put s.th. on the menu when they have no one to make it.

The place seems to be ok for a casual beer, though. - Wouldn't take...
