FIARTIL — Local services in Cascais

This used to be a lovely place (magical) lights strung up the trees,dancing and traditional music every night but since the health authority tried to close it down it has lost its magic. We have no children just our dogs and they ate now no longer allowed. It is not the fault of dogs or their owners that the health authority tried to close them but the gas standards of the food places themselves. While we took it in turns to sit outside with the dogs we saw at least 50 people in groups that included dogs sent away and that was just the hour we were there. Such a cute spot I visited while in Portugal! They have so many vendors ranging from clothes to jewelry, and several food and drink stands as well.

Estive pela primeira vez este ano na Fiartil. A entrada aumentou 50% ou seja para entrar paga-se este ano 1,50€. Os preços das bebidas e comidas também estão muito mais caros e para alem disso as quantidades servidas são menores. Este ano dei por falta de muitos artesãos e espaços de comida de pessoas que já conhecia e estavam na Fliartil há mais de 20 anos. O espaço é bom, amplo, com uma considerável variedade de artesanato, e com muitos espaços de comidas e bebidas. Não gostei e nem sei como permitem que uma "barraquinha" possa ter um fogareiro (bidon de 200l cortado ao meio) fora dessa dita barraquinha e perto das diversas mesas espalhadas pelo recinto, a grelhar peixe e carne como se estivessemos no "quintal" da propria casa , a deitar uma fumarada pelo recinto. Também não consigo perceber a existência de uma imobiliária na Fiartil. Fiquei desiludido porque já vou á Fiartil há mais de 40 anos e cada ano que passa o artesanato e artesãos são cada vez menos e os espaços de comes e bebes são ...
