São Lourenço — Restaurant in Elvas

We had the Bacalhau rice and it was superb, and the Picanha was also delicious. When we travel we tend not to visit the same place again, instead choosing to discover as much as possible but this is an exception - we ate there last night and enjoyed it so much we're going again tonight.

The rice dish we had felt like such an honest, light and tasty dish that we've been missing a little with such a protein-heavy cuisine in general in Portugal. This kind of unpretentious restaurant is such a joy to find.

Great find! Small and cozy restaurant in the very middle of Elvas. Not crowded at all (compared to some of the other places we walked past) and the prices were very reasonable. We had the Lobster Rice which was delicious, and with a generous portion. Good house wine as well, would definitely recommend and will return...
