Well, let me explain the low rating. First, I want to be objective. I was driving into this city. If you are driving DO NOT STAY HERE since the city is not drive friendly. It will be a nightmare. The place is set up as a co-working space. It's not a hotel, hostel or anything like it. It's really a work in progress, and not a place to enjoy. Yes the rooms are clean and so are bathrooms. But it's ONLY a place to sleep. There is NO reception. It is there for namesake. After much difficulty of going through one way narrowest streets, I was able to locate the place with the help of a local. Then I had to call the person who showed up after 5 mins. Elvas Queen residence was huge surprise! The place is new, everything is so clean, well decorated.

The bedroom are lovely, when i lay down the bed, i immediately recognize the quality of the mattress, i felt like a 5 star hotel, and i slept in heaven. the bathrooms ultra clean with a nice smell. And finally the staff , they are lovely and recieved us like home🥰

Nos quedamos a pasar la noche de viaje de camino a Lisboa. La verdad que la relación calidad-precio no puede ser más buena. Elvas es pequeñito pero la ubicación del hostal es perfecta ya que todo está cerca. Tienen un 10% de descuento en el restaurante a coluna si vas de su parte, nosotros no fuimos porque llegamos tarde para la hora de comer, aunque el muchacho de la recepción nos hizo el favor de llamar por si estaba aún la cocina abierta y podíamos comer, nos dio también otras opciones. Atención súper buena. La habitación me sorprendió más que nada por lo que nos costó. Es un piso antiguo reformado. El baño aunque es compartido te dan una llave para poder cerrarlo y abrirlo y creo que es compartido con otra habitación. Digo CREO porque en ningún momento se dio la circunstancia de encontrarnos con las otras personas. En la habitación te dejan un par de botellas de agua, unos biscotes, un par de cafés y un par de infusiones por persona. También una postal de Elvas.
