Don’t come here if you want an authentic Portuguese food experience! I ordered bacalhau à Brás and it could be an excellent dish if prepared properly : Potatoes → not slices, but finely cut matchsticks (batata palha), fried until crisp. They give texture and lightness. Codfish should shredded, not chunky or watery, and always well desalted. Eggs: lightly scrambled, creamy, binding the dish together, not overcooked or watery. Onion & garlic: gently sautéed at the start for sweetness and aroma. Black olives & parsley → garnish on top, never mixed in as mush. This was a lazy version that left a poor taste and shone unfavorably for the future of the dish. The salad was a basic thing and the sardines were tiny and mushy. Absolutely not recommended. We could not find anywhere decent as it was late on a Sunday. An experience to tell the difference between how dishes can be prepared and how...

Sort of a spot to have really good food with normal sized portions (nothing left behind and satisfied), good service, and the best place to get a beer and people watch. I got the...
Read moreAfter a couple of years living in Portugal it is incredible to see a restaurant completely ignoring me and my family just because not Portuguese and serving everyone before us. We had to wait ONE AND HALF hours for dorada/roubalo with fries, while everyone's plates (the same) were coming out. It is a shame to give this bad review cause the waiter that initially took care of us seemed nice and he once came to say he was sorry for the kitchen being slow. The others kept serving other tables without caring. Would avoid the experience...
