It's taken me a week to be able to sit down and write a review for Tas CA Dentro.
Before I dive into the review, some information is needed for context.
My gf has been in the food industry for over 2 decades, and generally prefers to cook herself as most food we eat out she finds disappointing. It is rare that we come across a place that she is still talking about a week later.
We were promptly greeted when we stepped in, and chose to sit outside.
The staff did not speak much English, but went out of their way to help us and provided a menu in English for us.
We ordered the house wine which was served with a mix of delicious breads to munch on while we decided on our order.
Gf ordered the octopus, Polvo a Lagareiro. I ordered the vegetarian risotto.
The presentation of both dishes was simple, but forthright and elegant.
I thought there would be no way I could eat the entire risotto on my own, but I couldn't stop eating it.
We are both talkative people, but this meal we were both savoring our food. The silence was only interrupted by pure sounds of enjoyment by my gf as she ate her octopus and potatoes.
Midmeal, I asked my gf "How are you doing?"
She replied "I'm sad. I'm sad that with every bite there is less left."
Both our meals were an experience we deeply enjoyed. We were left feeling more than satisfied and in a bit of a daze.
Then we ordered dessert. Again, I thought at most we would both only be able to manage one bite each, and again I was wrong.
We shared the gelato with caramelized apple. This was a unique dessert that we really shouldn't have eaten. It was too much food. I clearly over-ate. But I had zero regrets as I enjoyed every bite, and we could stroll along the beach rubbing our stomachs, and feeling that we both immensely enjoyed our meals, which is difficult when accommodating our tastes and dietary restrictions.
Highly recommend this Tas CA...

I had a bacalhau á lagareiro, but could see other dishes being served to tables nearby, and they all looked delicious. The service was swift and kind. Prices are well on average! Reservation is highly...
