Green Wave Hostel — Hotel in Figueira da Foz

I can't speak more highly of Pedro and his Puzzle Hostel. We hired the whole hostel for a long weekend that we played in a beach rugby tournament. Not easy for any host to look after a sports team on tour but Pedro was great. He's looked after our team for 4 years now but this was my first time here. He went to extra lengths to make our stay as good as it could of been. Even coming and watching us play and giving us advice on how to win. I was only there for two nights but I really enjoyed my stay at the Puzzle Hostel. Pedro, the owner, was a really great guy and full of knowledge about the area. He had a lot of suggestions about things to see and do and restaurants to try. The location was good and there are even bikes for rent if you like. This is a tiny hostel with 6 rooms or so, but very well located across the street from the beach. Pedro, the host, is a super nice guy that has loads of recommendations for restaurants, bars, activities and sight seeing. Breakfast all day, with a very good selection for such a small place. The mattresses are particularly comfortable - it seems somebody paid attention to details. We stayed four nights and also booked a one hour massage for very reasonable 20 euros...
