Very Unpleasant and worst experience, rated 1 star due to inability to assign a negative rating.
The owner displayed extreme arrogance and negligence. During our visit with four friends – three non-vegetarians and one vegetarian by religion – we specifically ordered Paneer Chilli with gravy for our vegetarian friend. However, the restaurant served Chilli Chicken instead. Despite this blunder, the owner asked sorry with smiling face and acted as if it's a small mistake, showing no remorse for the mistake. Her repeated statement, "I'm saying sorry, we can't do anything other than this," was delivered with utmost arrogance, leaving us frustrated.
The owner being a vegetarian(as told by her), her actions or words was never in way that she really felt sorry. For her it's just a small mistake and due to her rude attitude clearly shows - she is not even feeling sorry.
To add insult to injury, the initial bill reflected the higher price of the chicken dish, only corrected after we pointed out the error. Attached are photos of both the bills.
One good behaviour was giving the fresh garlic Naan to replace the Naan used in chicken curry given in place of Panner chilli.
An honest assessment of the food:
The so-called chicken biryani lacked authenticity and tasted like pickle rice ( not to forget - the hefty price is only for biryani doesn't comes with raitha or salad)
The Naan and Paneer Chilli did not match Indian taste expectations.
The customer service was marked by arrogance, disregarding customers' food preferences and not respecting...
Read moreThis is the first time I give 1 star review ever. We came to the restaurant hungry and excited to eat authentic indian food. We love indian food, and even make it at home. This is not what we expected. The Samosa was ok, needed more spices and potatoes but with the sauce was nice. We ordered 2 veggie dishes- both super sweet. And I ordered "Indian tea" without milk - and got regular Lipton tea that was so bitter that I couldn't drink it.
The service wasn't good- we waited to ordered until we gave up and asked, we waited to pay, again gave up and went in to ask. And above all when I asked about the tea, I've been told that I didn't understand the manu. I saw here at the comments that it's not the first time they blame it on the manu, or the clients. So actually it would be better if the restaurant won't comment here if no one is going to change something.
If you're not expecting authentic Indian food, or a nice and polite service, maybe you'll like...
Read moreWorst customer service I have ever had at any restaurant in any country or city... The woman at the counter was trying to lecture me in a very condescending way when I came with the menu for help with dietary needs. I wished for her to show me what meals on the menu didn't include certain food items, which she refused and instead asked me unrelevant questions as if to interrogate me if I even knew my own needs, telling me that I don't understand. She spoke proper English so there was no language barrier, she just basically refused to listen to me and often spoke over me with hand gestures and continuously raised her voice. I expressed that I didn't appreciate her attitude, tried one last time to make myself heard/understood and then had to leave as she just talked over me constantly. Slightly aggressive, extremely inpatient and very rude....
