If we could review the food and the owner separately, my rating would feel more accurate. The food is very good. I have eaten here many times in the last two years, usually bringing friends with me. This time I came alone (though made fast friends with the table next to me). I sat outside with my small dog, as did the other couple. I ordered lots of food, a perfect garlic Nan and butter chicken, a beautiful small salad, and an ok chicken moms. I enjoyed my food and the company of the other table, but just as I was leaving, I asked the girl where the bathroom was as I'd never used it there before. She pointed me to the doors at the back of the restaurant. So I walked straight there, with my 2.5k (6lb) dog in my arms and found the restroom in a common area of a small shopping center. When I came out, the male owner of the restaurant came after me as I was walking out to a streetside exit, and started berating me for walking through the restaurant with my dog in my arms. He was incredible rude, condescending, and aggressive. I kept trying to leave and he wouldn't stop, telling me I was disrespecting his restaurant and him. I said absolutely not, I have been to his restaurant many many times and he said "I don't recognize you!" I explained that I was told to go that way, he ignored me. I informed him not to worry, I won't be back. He asked me how often I leave the house with my dog. I said, every day. He asked me how often I eat at restaurants with my dog. I said, almost every day. He said he didn't believe me. He asked where I go. I told him everywhere, and I usually sit outside, but some restaurants invite me inside (without my asking). He said "where?!" I told him in this neighborhood, the Indian restaurant right around the corner loves dogs and is wonderfully friendly, and there is a fish restaurant just past that that is the same. I didn't want to stand there and explain when and where I eat, and with whom. I wanted to leave. He was absolutely horrible. He could have just said, "Sorry for the misunderstanding, next time walk around the corner and enter from the front". I will never return to his restaurant again, and make sure that none of my friends or family do either. The food is good, but the man is not. There is good Indian food around the corner on Estrada Monumental, and good Indian food at India Gate on Rua de Carreira, and they will even make Nepali dishes for you as the owners are Nepali. They are good, hard working people that are kind and considerate to their customers. Not...
Read moreStuff is unbelievable rude. We had reservation via the forks with discount 30%. We made the order and after they said there is no discount if don't take any drink. Actually we wanted to take a hot drink after our meal. But we were shocked by rudeness of their behavior and which way they let us to know. We were sitting outside and suddenly I found in front of me on the table tuft of somebody's hair🤮 i think somebody from a balcony throw away and it directly came on our table. It was last thing. We left immediately. Don't recommend. Learn how to behave yourself with clients if you don't know better to close your restraunt. And hope the control department will...

We had a fantastic experience at Himalaya Indian Restaurant! The food was bursting with flavor — the palak paneer was creamy, perfectly spiced, and tasted so fresh. The prawn karahi curry was the highlight of the meal — juicy prawns in a rich, aromatic sauce that paired beautifully with the fluffy rice.
The portions were generous, everything came out hot, and the service was warm and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed dinner.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian food. We’ll definitely be...
