Sunseterrace — Restaurant in Funchal

We had to circle twice to figure out where this place was, but if you go inside the mall and head to the stairs to the right of the supermercado, then up the next flight to the right again, you'll end up on the terrace. Veer right and you'll find a fabulous setting for drinks or a light dinner with a fabulous view.

The inside is cute with a modern cozy vice, but the outside is even better with tables along the wall with flowers and black umbrellas.

No matter where you sit, you'll have an ocean view, and if you time it correctly, you'll enjoy a sunset view.

I enjoyed a fabulous mojito, chosen based on our waitress' recommendation. My husband had a local beer.

We were ready to order two paninis, but luckily, she told us they were huge, which we should've figured out based on the price. We also shared the $3 side salad, which was large and full of variety.

Both the Classico Toasted Sandwich and the salad were fresh and tasty and delivered quite quickly.

Our waitress was funny, professional, and full of great suggestions. I'd go back just for the service! But luckily, everything, including the view, was quite good.

Lots of people were just enjoying drinks and the view.

Restroom is two flights down the stairs.

Highly recommend for a casual bite to eat or drinks with an ocean/sunset...

While I was living in Madeira, I was privileged to live close to this rooftop bar and it’s fair to say that whether you’re living in the area or visiting it definitely by far has some of the best views of Cabo Girão and in general on the island.

Absolutely stunning sunsets!! Prefect for a refreshing beer and delicious local cuisine. My favourite was Lapas. Of course they have good Poncha too!

I cannot wait to go back down memory Lane and revisit this location!

A secret little hidden gem with multimillion dollar views. Definitely worth visiting during a sunset to start off your night.

Enquanto morava na Madeira, tive o privilégio de viver perto deste bar no terraço, e é justo dizer que, quer esteja a viver na área ou apenas de visita, este local tem, sem dúvida, algumas das melhores vistas do Cabo Girão e, no geral, da ilha.

Pôr do sol absolutamente deslumbrante!! Perfeito para uma cerveja refrescante e uma deliciosa comida local. O meu favorito era as Lapas. Claro que também têm uma boa Poncha!

Mal posso esperar para voltar e revisitar este lugar cheio de memórias!

Uma pequena joia escondida com vistas de milhões de dólares. Definitivamente vale a pena visitar ao pôr do sol para começar bem a noite.

Während meiner Zeit auf Madeira hatte ich das Privileg, in der Nähe dieser Rooftop-Bar zu wohnen. Es ist fair zu sagen, dass sie, egal ob man in der Gegend lebt oder nur zu Besuch ist, mit Abstand eine der besten Aussichten auf Cabo Girão und generell auf der Insel bietet.

Absolut atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge!! Perfekt für ein erfrischendes Bier und köstliche lokale Küche. Mein Favorit waren die Lapas. Natürlich haben sie auch gute Poncha!

Ich kann es kaum erwarten, in Erinnerungen zu schwelgen und diesen Ort erneut zu besuchen!

Ein kleines verstecktes Juwel mit millionenschweren Ausblicken. Definitiv einen Besuch wert, besonders bei Sonnenuntergang, um den Abend perfekt zu starten.

Toen ik op Madeira woonde, had ik het voorrecht om dicht bij deze rooftopbar te wonen, en het is eerlijk om te zeggen dat, of je nu in de buurt woont of op bezoek bent, deze plek absoluut een van de beste uitzichten heeft op Cabo Girão en in het algemeen op het eiland.

Absoluut adembenemende zonsondergangen!! Perfect voor een verfrissend biertje en heerlijke lokale gerechten. Mijn favoriet was Lapas. Natuurlijk hebben ze ook goede Poncha!

Ik kan niet wachten om terug te gaan en herinneringen op te halen op deze prachtige locatie!

Pendant que je vivais à Madère, j’ai eu le privilège de vivre près de ce bar sur le toit, et il est juste de dire que, que vous habitiez dans la région ou que vous soyez de passage, cet endroit offre sans aucun doute l’une des meilleures vues sur Cabo Girão et, en général, sur l’île.

Des couchers de soleil absolument époustouflants !! Parfait pour une bière rafraîchissante et une délicieuse cuisine locale. Mon plat préféré était les Lapas. Bien sûr, ils ont aussi une excellente Poncha !

J’ai hâte d’y retourner et de revivre ces souvenirs !
