Clearly a tourist trap. I will not lie, it has a good atmosphere, the decor is really pretty and the staff is friendly. On the other hand, i think it falls behind other Italian restaurants near the area. Since there aren’t any other places near, I think they take advantage of the price, since it is really the only option if someone is staying near carvoeiro. In the first place, I think one of the main aspects that annoyed us is that when we ordered water, they brought the most expensive water (water in a glass bottle, that is probably tap) instead of asking which option would we prefer (there is a cheaper plastic bottled water that would have been perfectly fine). In the second place, I think the food isn’t up for the standard it is set with that price. frozen food, overcooked pasta, and all that with a 40-ish minute wait. Fresh dough and lovingly hand made pizza, which is as close to Italy as you'll get in Portugal. The 5 star reviews are fully justified in our opinion, and if you love pizza you must try this place. Carlos is an excellent friendly host and is very attentive. We both had the bruschetta starter, my wife had the Bella Napoli pizza and I had the Ferrari pizza, all these were delicious.
