Cafe / Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Lagoa

Ok for a drink but too expensive to make it a regular stop off point. Visited just the once due to final bill for a beer, toastie and Bacardi rum and coke. €4 for a large beer is just too much for a cafe to charge in my opinion. Update 18/9/23. Back at resort and dropped in for drinks. Pointed at menu items for large beer (now €4.50) and Pina colada (€6.50). Drinks duly arrived. Went to pay bill and charged €2 more. Questioned this and after a hurried look through menu the waitress that served us pointed out Pina colada on another page which was charged. Told her what was pointed on menu, no attempt or offer to refund. All very well ripping off tourists with menu prices but to defraud as well. Will...

We've popped into this café three times now during our stay so far. I can't fault the food and drinks, they really were lovely and fresh and we've thoroughly enjoyed everything we have had here. The prices are quite high, but would rather pay that for decent food than terrible food. Staff are pleasant enough, some more so than others. We did get the vibe that locals are perhaps preferred over "tourists". But none the less, a nice little place for a bite to eat...

I have very fond memories of visiting this coffee shop during my first trip to the Algarve. It continues to be a staple for me whenever I'm in the area, whether for a coffee or a quick prosciutto sandwich.

While it's a bit on the pricier side for the Algarve, considering everything it offers, I find the pricing to be quite fair...
