We cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by QEventos at our wedding. From start to finish, Carlos and Analisa went above and beyond what we ever could have expected, making our day not only beautiful but seamless in every way. The catering was nothing short of incredible. For our Friday night Welcome Party, QEventos curated a perfect blend of passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations that honored both mine and my husband’s cultural backgrounds, which was a beautiful and personal touch. On Saturday, the cocktail hour was filled with passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a buffet dinner with an extensive variety of meats, fish, vegetables, and sides. The dessert spread of pastries and fresh fruit was a dream, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the quality of the food—everyone felt so well taken care of and well-fed throughout the entire weekend!
But what really sets QEventos apart is that they are so much more than a wedding vendor. Their connections on the island are invaluable: they helped us to reserve a hotel room block, a shuttle bus, a nail appointment for the bride, and even helped us coordinate a family excursion. Since we’re not local, their guidance and ability to secure amazing vendors like florists and bakers made planning from afar effortless. They truly made us feel like family and not just clients. Analisa helped us find a wheelchair for my aunt when the hospital couldn’t provide one and Carlos personally drove some of our wedding guests home when they couldn’t find a taxi late at night. We are incredibly blessed to have found them and will always treasure the role they played in making our wedding day perfect. If you want a team that will not only exceed expectations but will be with you every step of the way, QEventos is the one. We are so grateful to have had them...
Read moreI would suggest that Q connects more directly with the bride and groom during weddings as we were left with so much confusion and anxiety waiting for our planner to answer questions because we kept getting conflicting information from the her.
The biggest mishap that night was the table with the cake and the dessert table we had reviewed with Maria our planner and sadly the cake was left alone inside and the desserts just lined up outside on the buffet table. We had discussed after dinner service to make a display near the cake with all of the desserts.
The planner also promised us that they would make place cards to show what the food was for guests who didn't speak Portuguese and we didn't get that.
Lastly, no one lit the candles at the dinner tables once it got dark. We've seen them lit before at the venue we used for our reception so we were expecting it. Not sure if that was Q events or...
Read moreAnalisa did a wonderful job catering our 60 person destination wedding in Sao Miguel. Her team & staff were so kind to us and our reception completely exceeded all expectations.
We had a cocktail hour, plated 3 course meal with dessert and a surprise champagne toast. The food was generous (both fish and meat dishes for everyone) and served over the course of a relaxed 2 hours. Everything was served warm & beautifully arranged. Analisa worked to accommodate dietary restrictions and gave options for those who don’t drink alcohol.
The menu price was extremely reasonable and we are so grateful to have been introduced to her team by Glam Azores event planning.
Don’t hesitate to hire her team to cater your...
