Endless Summer — Restaurant in Lagos

Amazing location watching the cliffs turn pink as the sun sets. Very good glass of vinho tinto at local price. End of a busy, hot summer season and I am a local so I should know, lol. Very disappointing service from young Portuguese girls.....dismissive shrug when I asked for a side salad with my lasagne. Only option was main course salad at €8. No attempt made to compromise...smile...chat..whatever. Portion of lasagne rather small for the €12 price tag but good taste. Overall feel unremarkable. ....wobbly table due to poor maintenance. ..not the usual calcada issue. Don't think I'll bother again...and unlikely to recommend to my rental...

There is a magic to the golden hour, buskers playing music with the surf crashing in the background. We have been craving a seaside meal and Endless Summer had a table. I had the burger and my wife had the vegetarian pizza.

That we got a table on the busy beachfront had us happy. My bacon cheeseburger was fantastic and my wife enjoyed her pizza enough, but it was very plain. (She is not vegan) If you are ordering this one you may want to see if something can be added to jazz it up.

We came here for breakfast on the first day of our holiday.

The service was okay, and there were six of us.

I had the acai bowl with a mint tea, and my partner had a ham and cheese tostie with a chocolate milkshake.

The rest of our group had similar items and we also ordered a bowl of home made fries which were nice and came with aioli.

The acai bowl was okay... nothing special and very small. The ham and cheese toastie was so so bland. It really tasted of nothing and had to be smothered in ketchup just to taste something.
