We should have walked away when we were ignored when we tried to book a table, unfortunately we didn't as it was only a walk away from our apartment and located on the beach.

We had three dinners. One calamari and two plates of chicken pieces. The chicken meal was uninspiring and bland, though edible. What really turned us off was the service. It was service with a scowl. When we received the bill, we were unable to read it but thought it came in at €55, surprising as the three plates totalled €33, with a coke, small beer and fruit juice on top. When we queried, the waitress told us the bill was in fact €75 and stormed off, knocking over a can on our table when we asked her to check. The staffs are friedly except a woman. Yesterday morning I went there with friends. Normally they open at 9:30, we were 10 minutes earlier. The woman was cleaning the table outside. I asked her if we could sit there because some tables were already cleaned. She got immediately angry and saíd it was impossible for her to clean if we were there. We were all shocked to her atitude. It was the second time that I found her very uncomfortable to her clients. Last time we were there with a group of people. Unfortunately we were some minutes earlier. She apeared very unhappy and unfriendly. We wonder if she likes her job? No motivation, no smile face...... My husband and I go there very often, but I don't want to go...

We have been going to this restaurant for over 35 yrs and it’s always been very good and very busy , but since COVID , the prices have become ridiculous, not good value , much smaller portions and hardly any customers now . It has the best beach bar setting in Lagos and the staff are amazing , friendly and helpful but I fear the high prices are losing them customers .it’s been our favourite place to eat for years but tonight it just wasn’t good value at all , may return only for a jug of their rather good vinho...
