I messaged the restaurant prior to visiting because I noticed the menu only had 1 vegan sushi option. I got the reply that they would make vegan options per request once we went. When I got there I was told to place my order on the sheet they deliver and to write "vegan" on top so they would make a vegan version of the dishes (as simple as not adding salmon to an avocado and salmon roll, for example). They brought me some dishes initially, and then they stopped coming. I asked the waitress after almost an hour and I was told they lost my sheet and to write it again. I wrote it and ordered it again. A few minutes later the waitress came back, couldn't communicate properly with me (neither in Portuguese or English), asked another colleague to come and the colleague basically told me they were too busy to do requests outside the menu. Me and my boyfriend arrived really soon, when the restaurant was basically empty, but by this time the restaurant was full. Basically more than half of my order did not arrive and when I finally tried to place it again now somehow it was impossible to make because the restaurant was full, when I was previously assured I could be accommodated. Terrible service and still had to pay full price. The most frustrating thing is that it's really easy to prepare vegan rolls, so their lack of flexibility did not make any sense. Gingko is known for their buffet, a different concept where you order of the menu and they serve you at the table. Which I was recommended to go by a couple friends.

Being new to discover this place, we were greeted by friendly staff, especially Suresh whom dedicated his time to explain to us how their concept works.

They were sometimes "pressuring" us to order more as we were ordering small quantities at a time, in which you could feel a little frustrated, although the reason behind it, is that they didn't want us to always have long gaps waiting for our food to arrive as the restaurant gets busy by the minute.

Regarding the food, the portions were small, but enough to keep you going for more and they were not filled with fillers like other restaurants to keep costs down and to "cheat" by making you full quicker.

had an amazing experience at this sushi restaurant! The fish was incredibly fresh, with each piece melting in my mouth. The rolls were beautifully presented, perfectly balanced in flavor, and clearly made with a lot of care.

The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready with great recommendations — I especially appreciated their suggestion to try the chef’s special, which turned out to be the highlight of my meal.

The ambiance was cozy yet modern, making it a great spot for both a casual dinner and a special night out. Prices were fair for the quality, and I left feeling very satisfied.
